I acknowledge and understand as a buyer/parent that martial arts (TAEKWONDO, HAPKIDO, TAICHI, TAEBOX, JIUJITSU, KICKBOXING, PLOYMETRICS, MUAY THAI and GYMNASTICS) are contact sports/ arts, and with this there is a risk of injury or death as with any sport or physical art or cardio workout.  As a buyer/parent I also have verified with my physician that I or my child are in good health to participate in classes.

Injuries & Insurance:

Student and buyer/parents must have necessary medical insurance, in case of any injuries.  ATC does not cover or pay on any injuries or disabilities.  A secondary insurance is offered through USATKD or the AAU. Students and parents acknowledge this and agree to indemnify and save harmless ATC / ATC TaeKwonDo Centers Inc, any licensed ATC academies, ATC Dba’s or any outside affiliated organizations, TIU, National Gymnastics Training Centers, GPA, Instructors, Masters , Grandmasters, Landlords and Owners from any legal damages or legal actions arising from any serious injuries during the performance and execution of any exercises or injuries from any martial-arts techniques, falls, throws, sparring, grappling and also injuries arising in class or from any equipment use. ATC does not pay for any injuries, you should have medical insurance. Practice at your own risk.

Indemnification of any Injuries:

Enrollee/ Student understands  that all exercises and/or courses are undertaken at member’s/parent’s own risk.  There is a risk of personal injury involved in Martial Arts instruction and training.  With this knowledge the parents and/or students agree to indemnify  and save harmless the ATC, Grandmasters, Instructors, owners, and all agents of ATC or any affiliate, from any and all losses caused by accident, injury or death to the enrollee or to third persons or other students/ members, who may accompany the enrollee, in the event that any of the afore mentioned are injured in any way before, during or after classes as well as during the execution of any exercise or technique.

The buyer/student/parent also understands that ATC or ATC licensed academies do not cover or pay for any injuries. The buyer / parent must advise ATC of any pre-existing medical problems and maintain full medical insurance while practicing at any ATC training facility /ATC/ or ATC TaeKwonDo Centers or ATC Martial Arts Centers.
