Belt Testing and Tournaments: 

These events build confidence, goal setting, discipline, control and a winning attitude, but sometimes a student may feel as if they are not ready due to lack of confidence or fear.  We, as instructors, understand a student’s fears and weak points.  If an instructor recommends a student should test, they should do so– we know when they are ready. ATC is here to develop self discipline, confidence, commitment, self defense, self control and a never give up attitude. “YES I CAN” (Students must maintain or work towards a 3.0GPA in order to be eligible to belt test)

Testing Procedures:

We ask that parents understand that testing is a process that takes time. Testing is for the benefit of the student and testing can run up two 3 hours which includes motivational lectures, grading of martial art techniques, physical strength, mental strength, reviewing school grades and implementing life skills.:  All students should arrive 30 minutes prior to their testing time for warm up. At times testing may be running a little late or seem crowded so do not get upset, please have patience. ATC has an average of 4 belt testing’s per year which requires a parent to commit to an average of 8 hours per year. We do ask that parents play a bigger role in their child’smartial arts education and assit at all major events.

Other Costs:

The cost of  team classes, sparring classes, demo classes, private classes, belt testing  fees, tournament fees, uniforms, protective equipment, private classes, master club, after school programs, Pre-Kindergarten courses, seminars, camps and other school related activities are not included in my class tuition fees. ATC also may adjust and raise tuition and testing fees by $5.00 to $10.00 per person per-year to compensate for inflation and facility rental changes.

• Testing and camps are not included with your regular tuition fees.
• Tournament fees vary - ATC does not control outside events or those fees.
• Return all event/ testing applications 8 days before your event/ testing date.
• There are no refunds on testing, tournaments or certificate fees. 
• Any class time credit must be approved by ATC Student Services.'
• If you ordered the wrong belt or uniform size please contact us and allow up to
  8 days for a replacement.
